Typically, we abhor country music. Far too often it's sobby victim stories, flag waving stories, or just tales that tout the virtues or ignorance and blind faith.

However, we bought a CD yesterday from the Country rack.  And when we say Country rack, you're probably thinking Dixie Chicks.  And you'd be right.  The album is called "Taking the Long Way" and contains a track called "Not ready to make nice." Anyone who has been paying attention can guess what it's all about.

Luckily, it's listenable stuff. We bought it on the basis of their long-standing feud with W. So... BONUS... we can actually enjoy it. So, apparently, can many others... the CD is #1, and that's in the US, not England.

George, of course, is closing on a very different #1 at the moment...
